Mikel set for a big move to Spain

John Obi Mikel

After spending Methuselah’s years away from Chelsea’ squad, Mikel is set to make a move to Valencia and finally quit his temporary career of being a stay-at-home dad.

Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch, has said that plans are on going to ship all of Mikel’s belongings to Spain either through Uber or Moluwe.

“In the case of Obi Mikel, with Chelsea’s permission, I met with him in London on Christmas day.
“I informed him of the option [of joining Valencia]. He said he would think about it.”

The move is expected to happen this month but it appears Mikel’s financial advisor is suggesting that he thinks it well especially because he will become a free agent this summer.

Mikel has also received offers from two European clubs (Inter Milan and Marseille) who are looking for an excuse to sack their managers and the ‘Pablo Escobar’ of football, Chinese Super League.

Valencia are currently seeking for a new coach following the resignation of Cesare Prandelli after the Italian strongly held on to a disagreement with the club owner over transfers.
