Arsene Wenger: We are not scared to spend money

Often labelled as a man whose origin is from South West Nigeria (Ijebu to be precise), rather than France, Arsene Wenger has come out to say he doesn’t share the same characteristics as his many countrymen.

Arsene Wenger says Arsenal are not scared of spending or doing enough to show their players that Arsenal is more of Beyonce rather than Rihanna.

“We are not scared to spend the money and we are not scared to show the players we love them, and we want them to earn big money but we have to have a line of conduct.”

With Alexis Sanchez’ contract talk looking like Indian movies, Wenger says he is confident that Sanchez will soon put an ink on the paper.

“Alexis Sanchez is a committed player who wants to stay. I’m convinced we’ll find an agreement. It has to be in our potential,”

Wenger, clearly not a man you find at a strip club says that negotiations is always about money but there has to be a point where there is willingness from both parties to put back for ground without money being on the ground.

“It always starts with money, it finishes with money and in between the players want to stay or want to go,” Wenger said. “When the players want to stay it’s easier to find an agreement. We can certainly find an agreement. You cannot put the club in jeopardy as well for the players.

But Wenger assured those Arsenal fans who think he is an unfortunate fellow that the club he doing it’s best to keep both Sanchez and Ozil.
